The artwork from Jeff Boyes “The Art of Character” is now online and available for purchase! Jeff decided to pay tribute to the unsung heroes of his favorite movies - the character actors. Each print is in a very limited edition, so act fast!
Join us TONIGHT at G1988 East (7021 Melrose Ave) from 7-10 PM Jeff Boyes “The Art of Character” opening reception. Jeff has taken on some of his favorite character actors from his favorite movies, and here he’s paid tribute to Gary Cole’s Bill Lumberg from Office Space. Come meet Jeff, and see the show, tonight from 7-10 PM!
For Jeff Boyes “The Art of Character,” the artist decided to pay homage to actors/actresses who are completely unforgettable, but may not have ever had the actual leading spotlight in pop culture. We’ve already previewed an image inspired by Cameron from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and now we see Cousin Eddie (portrayed by Randy Quaid) from the Vacation movies. For those who already have his completely sold out Chevy Chase / Clark Griswald piece, this would make for a pretty awesome duo.
Come check out the exhibit THIS FRIDAY NIGHT, at G1988 (East), with an opening reception from 7-10 PM. Meet Jeff and see his new pieces (and variants), they’re incredible.

G1988 is proud to open “The Art of Character,” a new solo show from artist Jeff Boyes, THIS FRIDAY NIGHT, from 7-10 PM at G1988 (East) at 7021 Melrose Ave. in Los Angeles.
Jeff has decided to focus on the small characters, the unsung heroes, from your favorite movies, a group of actors and actresses usually not depicted in pop culture art. While many artists have flood the market during the recent screenprint boom, Jeff has decided to focus on quality over quantity and these new pieces will prove it.
Meet Jeff at the opening reception from 7-10 PM, and make sure to stop by the gallery, as the show will run through July 19th.
